Life Lately: November 2016

November is such a chill month, but I didn’t expect that I will be spending a lot. I need to learn how to control my impulse buying habit. OTL

The Little Prince

I got myself a “The Little Prince” planner, but I don’t know if I’m going to use it. The hardbound is kinda fragile and its size is too big for me. That’s what I get for buying online and not checking dimensions. OTL

It’s pretty, though. Another plus is it doesn’t have a set date, so I can start anytime, use it next year, or probably give it as a gift.

Christmas lights at Ayala Triangle

Five years and counting! Ever since I started working in Makati, we make it a point to see the dancing lights at Ayala Triangle every year. The people I always go with have already left the company, but we still get together for this every November/December.

As there are many passersby whenever we take photos, my former workmates decided to photobomb for real. #TROLOLOL

New favorite Korean ice cream

We’re so lucky to have a Korean grocery store near the office. Apart from Honey Butter Chips and Dr. Pepper, I’ve found a new favorite to buy.

Rehearsals again for December perf

We’re set to perform at two events this December, both at SM Megamall Megatrade. We’ll go with our usual setlist, but we’re adding a new piece. Guess what? We’re going to sing and dance again. /picks up some self-confidence

This cat decided to lie down on our lyrics guide and doesn’t want to let go.

…and this adorable dog is such a good boy. What’s with SK and pets during rehearsals. ww

DVD marathon at Il Padrino Coffee

My friend who just came back from Japan brought a lot of DVDs when we met. I went to Japan with her earlier this May, but I wasn’t able to accompany her this time because I lack funds.

The DVDs (from top to bottom):

  • Osomatsusan ~Special Event Fesmatsusan~ (We were in Japan during this event, but we weren’t able to buy tickets because it was sold out in five minutes. OTL)
  • Hyper Projection Engeki Haikyuu!! ~Documentary of “Itadaki no Keshiki”~
  • Touken Ranbu ~Kyoden Moyuru Honnoji~ (The same case with the Osomatsusan event. Lesson learned: General sale dates are a battlefield. Expect the worse.)
  • Rock Musical BLEACH ~Mou Hitotsu no Chijou~
  • Musical Makai Ouji ~Devils and Realist~
  • Kageki Meikoi [Meiji Tokyo Renka – Oborotsuki no Chat Noir]

We’ve accumulated so many stageplay-related goods in a span of six months. I got a tote bag from Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus musical, a muffler towel and pamphlet from Haikyuu!! stage, and bromides from Rock Musical BLEACH and the rerun of Live Spectacle Naruto.

I don’t know if it’s a good thing that she has an aunt who’s willing to do favors for us tbh. #byemoney
