Go Doki Doki for Simone Legno’s Tokidoki

Tokidoki Art Exhibit

Who would have thought that such work of art can bring people together? That’s what happened to SM North EDSA The Block when tokidoki Art Installation & Exhibition opened to the public.

Simone Legno, the man behind this lively exhibit, is a 36-year old artist from Rome, Italy. His designs are inspired heavily by the Japanese culture, street art, and graffiti. He visited the Philippines recently to have a talk, and even did a sample in front of an audience!

The Exhibit

As my favorite color is black, this is the first design that grabbed my attention.

His signature! I think I’m one of the few who bothered taking a picture of this cute cactus.

I enjoyed the exhibit and felt like I was in wonderland. If possible, I would like to take at least a wallpaper or statue home (the unicorn, please)!
