Have you ever had this feeling of wanting to visit all the amazing coffee and pastry shops in Manila? I do. In fact, even if I’m not allowed to drink coffee anymore (I palpitate, unfortunately.), I still want to give them a visit. Coffee is a wonder drink after all.
Quoted from Wikipedia:
Ciara /ˈkɪərə/ is a popular Irish language female name and was tenth on the list of most popular names given to baby girls in Ireland in 2006. It is the feminine version of the name Ciarán, meaning “dark-haired beauty” in Irish Gaelic, and was also the name of Saint Ciara, a seventh-century Irish saint venerated by the Roman Catholic Church. The name’s spelling is often Anglicized as Keira, Kiera, Keara or Kira.
My mom got my name from Revlon’s “Ciara” perfume, while she was walking at the mall. Surprisingly, she told me this when I was already 20 years old. All along I thought my name was from a book. What a shocker.
Finally, it’s time to meet female idols from Japan! Kawaii Pop Fest is a 3-day event, but we only bought the first day package because our main purpose was to watch 9nine. It’s possible to buy tickets for one group only, but these won’t include the free handshake pass.
Many things happened on our first day in Hong Kong, so here’s the continuation of my previous post (Part 1).
Next agenda: Kawaii Pop Fest 2013 Pre-event at Dragon Centre! Kawaii Pop Fest held a special event, inviting locals and tourists to watch. The participants were Dorothy Little Happy, dempagumi.inc, and 9nine who’s scheduled to perform the next day. They had a fashion show to promote Sony’s new product line of headphones. Afterwards, each group performed two to three songs then introduced themselves.
I’m happy because whenever they go to the left side of the stage, they’ll wave and smile at me. It pays to be one of the few fangirls at the audience. (^_~)
Great news! I became a regular at my job recently, so I was allowed to file a 3-day vacation leave. Yay. The best way to celebrate it? Go overseas. My friend, Sachi, and I decided to visit Hong Kong (again) since we had a great time last year. We also received the news that Japanese female idol groups are going to hold a concert at KITEC.
