December. It’s that time of the year again when Christmas and year-end parties take place. Of course, my favorite community is no exception. Last Saturday (December 12), me and my group attended and performed at Kawaii Philippines’ WINTER WONDERLAND YEAR END PARTY. As expected, it was another fun-filled event. ♪ヽ(▽￣ )ﾉ/(＿△＿)ヽ( ￣▽)ﾉ
The Year-end Party Venue
The party took place at Staple and Perk Bakery. It’s a local bread and pastry brand located on the first floor of Ecoplaza Building in Makati City. It’s only a tricycle/jeepney ride from MRT Magallanes Station, so it’s convenient if you want to commute. The interior is cool and neat, and it’s open 24/7. Definitely a good place to hold small events!
What a Wonderful Year!
Many wonderful events took place this year. From the School of Kawaii Workshop to the Kawaii Book Launch, the community is on a roll. This shows how we are growing and how many more people are appreciating everybody’s efforts. It’s only right to end the year with a bang, right? (ﾉ≧∀≦)ﾉ * ੈ✩‧₊˚
All Fun and Games
Some of the games we played are charades, Newspaper Dance (using red cartolina ww), Song Guessing Game, Bring Me, Bubblegum Blowing, and Pop the Balloon.
Three out of five participants for the Newspaper Dance were couples — Sachi and boyfriend, Gia and boyfriend, Az and boyfriend, then there’s this pair who only met during the event. Haha. Surprisingly, the only female pair won the contest!
When they said, “Bring me… a photo of a reindeer!” We took a photo of Sachi (right) immediately, thinking they’ll let it pass because she was wearing reindeer antennas. 笑
Music and Dance Performances
We got a good seat and was able to watch Ulzzang Pistol (Zeon) and Gia perform live. If you don’t know them, I suggest you watch MEISHI SMILE – AJS (Ulzzang Pistol Vocal Remix). Yes. Go watch it now! (~￣▽￣)~
As a way of thanks, we decided to perform a Christmas song for the party. We danced to 9nine’s White Wishes (Watch it on our Facebook page!). It’s the ending theme song for Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. The choreo isn’t that complicated, but we love the song and so happy we were able to dance it in front of a crowd. ヾ(*´∇`)ﾉ
Kawaii PH Store Pop-up Booth
The pop-up booth had once again made me splurge on all the kawaii. I got three button pins worth 100php and a sweater worth 500php, featuring a new design by Chichi (Little Miss Paintbrush). I love Tamagotchi. I used to have two when it was cool. Many thanks to the sponsors, as well. The loots are pretty! Will use some of them soon.
Congratulations to the Kawaii PH team for another fun and successful party. The event started late because of the traffic, but it was worth staying out late nevertheless. More events to come and happy, merry holidays! ヘ(￣ω￣ヘ)
